Collaboration: Pictures by Michelle Weinberg. Words by Thomas Sayers Ellis.

I made the images, which are collaged from found paper. Each measures in the vicinity of 17" x 36". I asked Thomas for some words to accompany the images for a small booklet.  Dimitry Chamy, artist and designer of setfire, suggested I hand-write the words in the margins, which would cause the book to resemble my sketchbooks, hence the title Marginalia.  Thomas and I have inspired each other in the past, and it's cool to have a compact little product which represents our collaboration.
